How to install and activate your eSIM on iPhone or iPad

Once your eSIM is ready, we’ll email you everything you need: a QR code, a one-tap install link and your eSIM details if you prefer to enter them manually.

Before you start

• Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi is fine).
• Keep the confirmation code from your email handy, you’ll need it during set-up.

The easy way: scan the QR code

Open the eSIM email on a second screen. Then, on the iPhone or iPad you’re setting up, go to Settings › Mobile Data › Add eSIM (on older iOS, Add Data Plan) and scan the code. Follow the prompts and enter your confirmation code when asked, and then you’re good to go!

Only have one screen?

Open the email on the device itself and tap Install on iPhone, we’ll do the rest.

Prefer to enter it manually?

Go to Settings › Mobile Data › Add eSIM › Enter Details Manually, then type in the SM-DP+ address, activation code and confirmation code from your email.
