How to install and activate my Lobster eSIM on Android

Once your eSIM is ready, we’ll email you everything you need: a QR code, a one-tap install link and your eSIM details if you prefer to enter them manually.

Before you start

• Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi is fine).
• Keep the confirmation code from your email handy, you’ll need it during set-up.

The easy way: scan the QR code

Open the eSIM email on a second screen (a laptop or tablet). Then, on the Android phone you’re setting up, go to Settings › Connections › SIM Manager › Add eSIM and point the camera at the code. Follow the prompts and enter your confirmation code when asked, and then you’re good to go!

Only have one screen?

Open the email on the phone itself and tap Install on Android, we’ll do the rest.

Prefer to enter it manually?

Go to Settings › Connections › SIM Manager › Add eSIM, choose Scan QR code, then Enter code instead, and type in the SM-DP+ address, activation code and confirmation code from your email.
Menu names vary a little between brands and Android versions, if you can’t find ‘SIM Manager’, search your settings for ‘eSIM’ or ‘Add data plan’.
